  1. Which model should I use?

    FR Free

    To get started at no cost, Mistral is an excellent choice: a French model with a free API tier and strong legal capabilities. Ideal for trying Lexanon AI before moving to Claude or Gemini.

  2. Pseudonymise first

    Before any AI request, documents must be pseudonymised locally. Only labels such as [PERS1] and [ORG1] are sent to the model, never actual names or contact details.

  3. Connect your API key

    BYOK

    Lexanon uses Bring Your Own Key: enter your Mistral, Claude, Gemini or OpenAI keys. They remain stored on your computer and are used only for your requests.

  4. Read restored text, locally

    The interface automatically decodes pseudonymised responses for reading. Switch between restored names and codes as needed, without leaving your computer.
